Gingerbread Smash...

When our friends the Swift's invited us to their annual gingerbread smash, I have to be honest, it didn't make any sense to me!  The kids really wanted to go so we went.  All that effort to put together gingerbread house to then smash it?!
But heres the thing... what happens when you put together that store bought gingerbread house?
It sits on a table for all to see the entire month of December to be thrown away or you allow your kid a sugar high and they consume it!
Either way its still all in all a waste.  So why not put it together and then smash it to smithereens!!
As you can see my children had a blast!  I guess we will add gingerbread smashing to our annual Christmasy events list!
