Little Lambs Halloween Class

Garrison and Rosalia are currently attending religion class at our church.  The older kids don't get to celebrate Halloween and instead celebrate All Saints Day (dressing up as Saints).  However, the preschool kids do get to dress up.  The kids had so much fun picking from the bin of costumes we have and these were their choices!  Maia is sporting the oldest costume we own...Liliana's first costume... Tigger!

Run or Dye 5K

Just like the color run, the run or dye is another 5k (3.1 miles).  The goal this time (besides have fun with friends) to run the entire 3.1 miles.  Minus walking for 30 seconds while I attempted to remove color out of my eyes we ran the entire race!  We finished in just under 27 minutes.  Not bad for 3 moms in their 30's!!

Part Monkey?...

This is what Maia does when in the car.

Cupcake Class

Ava came home excited about a new afterschool class...Cupcake decorating!  She is my kitchen assistant even when I don't need one.  Today was her first class.  She came out so excited to show off her two decorated cupcakes!  She did pretty good.  Needless to say she can't wait till next week!

Rosalia's 3 Year Pictures...

What's more fun than getting all dressed up like a princess, having your mommy curl your beautiful hair, and pretending a frog statue is a prince?  Nothing!  Rosalia had so much fun doing a "photoshoot" at the park with me this morning!  She looked adorable and loved all the attention passer byers gave her while taking pictures!

Awake From Her Nap...

Notice...her sheets are missing as is her diaper and pants.  Well the pants aren't "missing" they are on her head!  Why oh why does she not like to keep her clothing on?

Another Halloween Sneak Peek...

At our costumes this year...

Family Party Fit For A Princess...

As I hung the princess decorations, I began having flashbacks of Ava's princess party when she was turning 3 years old.  Having Rosalia so very excited for her princess party made me smile ear to ear!  She was dressed head to toe like Princess Sofia.  Her cake was also Princess Sofia.  Her balloons... Princess Sofia!  She still loves Minnie Mouse but her liking continues to grow for anything princess which includes Princess Sofia.  Some of the family couldn't make it, but Rosalia just wanted her birthday cake and to be sung to.  She had the silliest smile when it was time to sing to her.  After cake, she took her time opening her presents.  She seemed overwhelmed after she opened each one.  Not sure which one to open and play with first.  Once everyone left, she fell deep asleep on the couch for a couple hours.  She partied hard!

Diaper Gifts...

Marc comes home on Wednesday and says "I need a diaper cake for Rob (coworker) by Friday."
So here's what I came up with.  I was originally just going to do the cake but had left over gifts and did a motorcycle as well.  Marc added a cute stuffed animal from work before giving the gifts to Rob!  Not bad for short notice!

Birthday Princess Turns 3...

The morning began with a half awake Rosalia saying "it's my birthday where's my cake?"
After a bath, daddy took her to pick out donuts.  When everyone finished breakfast, we headed to the dentist.  Just as we were leaving, our neighbor Colleen came by with a very cute gift.  (An Ariel dress up outfit complete with tiara and musical necklace). Trying to convince her to leave her pretty outfit home was near impossible but Rosalia was pretty cooperative.  Her cooperation continued at the dentist.  Since today was her birthday, they gave her extra balloons, extra tokens for the prize chest,  and a gift card for MacDonalds!  After the dentist, we were off to grab lunch and shop at the mall.  By the time we got home, family near and far had taken their turns calling and emailing.  Papa came by to enjoy cupcakes after dinner.  Happy birthday to our beautiful princess Rosalia.  Family party to come this weekend...
