Full Name Success...

She may be only 4, but she's one smart girl!  She knows how to write her first, middle, last, and nickname without samples in front of her!

SNAKE!!!...

The kids came running in the house yelling SNAKE!!  I didn't believe them.  To entertain their animated concern, I went down around back to find this HUGE SNAKE!  I couldn't tell if it was poisonous, so I knew I needed to get it away from the house.  I am not afraid of many animals but I must admit... this snake had me screaming and squealing!  It took me over 15 minutes to get it away from the house.  I hope it doesn't come back!  EWWW

Simple Makes All The Difference...

Liliana wanted more shelf space in her bathroom.  I had these ikea shelves from our old house and decided they would work great above her toilet.  She wasn't kidding how much more space she was in need of!  Girls and their pretty body spray and lotions!

Y-Pads...So Much Better Than An IPad!...

I ordered these because the two little girls never stop fighting over Marc's iPad which is off limits after two screen incidents.  They are called y-pads and they are so much better than iPads (as far as kids are concerned)  They teach the ABC's, 123's, words, sounds, and teach each letter with a couple different settings.  BEST investment ever!

DIY Backyard Fun...

A trip to Home Depot turned into these fun backyard toys...a pvc ring toss, corn hole, and a life size Jenga!  Not bad for a city girl right?  Thanks again to Pinterest!

And Another Small Project Done...

From oak to glass mirror!  What an easy updating job this was!  Garrison even helped a bit!

New Floors Are In Downstairs...

 Some before pictures...

A work in progress.  I was determined to put these floors in myself...
And I did it!!  What a difference!

Diving Into Homeschooling...

We've made the leap into homeschooling.  Wish me luck and say lots of prayers.

A Bump In The Road And Out Pops A Tooth...

We hit a bump and out popped his tooth!  He saw blood, freaked out, but managed to hold onto his tooth though!  Thumbs up once he had something taking care of that blood.

Meet Snowflake...

Our new bunny, snowflake!  I told the kids we will let her have babies and then we will grow them and eat them.  The kids didn't like that idea.  Little do they understand that is the plan... or so Marc says!  First task, get this bunny pregnant!

First Tooth Is Out...

We were headed to Flagstaff, on the way we hit a bump in the road (literally) and from the back of the van Garrison yells "my tooth fell out".  I looked back and he had a smile that was quickly turning to a very fearful look.  He doesn't like blood and the blood was now coming out of his mouth where the tooth used to be.  I chucked some tissues back and after a few minutes of being very nervous and upset about the blood and tooth falling out, he "smiled" for a picture!  I've never met a kid so worried about losing teeth... until Garrison!

Home Depot Craft...

We haven't attended the free Home Depot crafts in several years.  Bored with Marc working Saturdays, we decided to check one of the events out.  Today's craft was a plant holder.  First they had to assemble the stand, then they had to paint it, then the employee gave them a small pot with flowers planted.  You'll notice I have an extra kid in the photos below.  Ava's friend Aurora slept over and came with us to the craft.  Yes, I got quite the looks when I strolled into Home Depot with 7 kids but when don't I get looks these days!!

Lowes Craft...

Today's craft was a cute flower pot.  The kids were able to do this craft with very minimal help.  We've come such a long way over the years with these crafts.  I used to be outnumbered trying to help them all.  Now I just stand there barely needed!

Disney On Ice...

We escaped Northern Arizona and headed back down into Phoenix for a Disney On Ice show the kids were very excited to see.  As you can tell from the pictures... they had a BLAST!
