Best Sushi Ever...

Marc and I went out to dinner while kid free.  The prettiest and tastiest sushi ever, continued to flow out of the kitchen at Esoji in Prescott, AZ.  Their peach saki was delicious, their Japanese soda was interesting, and their dishes were out of this world.  It's too bad we will be moving but at least we know where to grab a bite to eat next time we find ourselves in the area!

1st Lost Tooth...

Rosalia lost her first tooth.  Unlike Garrison who freaked out when he lost his 1st tooth, she somehow pulled it out quietly, walked up to me, put her fingers holding the tooth in my face and calmly said "I lost my tooth mommy".

Happy 4th Birthday Maia...

Happy Birthday to our sweet, trouble finding Maia!  She wanted two things... A Frozen cake and a new bike!  What a lucky girl to have gotten both!

Officially Under Contract...

After 2 offers and 3 counter offers, we finally entered under contract status with our Prescott home!  Let's hope and pray these are our buyers, that our appraisal and inspection comes back in great shape, and that we have a smooth closing.  Until closing, Marc will commute down to the valley.  He will stay at his parents 4-5 nights a week and then come home for his 2 days off.  It will be an adjustment but with our house officially pending a sale, its now a countdown until we all can reunite in the valley.  House hunting won't be fun but hopefully we luck out and find something fairly quickly with an expected close date of May 31st!

Swimming in April...

Uncle Jarrod came to town for a short visit.  Along with spending time with him, the kids decided to try swimming in Papa's pool.  Though the water was cold, they braved it and enjoyed themselves!

Child Abuse Awareness Pinwheel Placing...

Our local MOMS Club planned to attend the placing of the pinwheels.  I managed to get the older kids settled with their schooling, in time to take the younger kids to the event.  A photographer from the local newspaper asked if he could photograph Maia.  He took her name and posted it in the newspaper.  Too bad he spelled Simpson WRONG!  Haha
It's ok, we didn't participate for the publicity!  We participated to raise awareness for child abuse victims.  Each pinwheel placed in this field represented a child that has been helped out of an abusive situation.
