Bowling...

We wanted to do something fun with Papa Bing before he headed back home to Georgia in just a few short days.  Bowling fit the bill.  We loaded everyone up and off we went.  (Well actually we left Maia with Papa and Grandma since she isn't old enough to bowl just yet)
They had these metal bowling ball racks that one could use if the ball was too heavy to push down the lane.  Rosalia and Garrison enjoyed the ball rack.  Rosalia even got so into the pins being knocked down that she would jump in the air, throw her hands up, and yell "YAY".  It was so funny and she did it after each and every bowling ball hit the pins.  Here are a few pictures I snapped while bowling. 

Video Gaming Buddies...

If you ask Garrison why Papa's house is so fun, one of the reasons will include playing the wii.  Even though we have a wii at our house, there is just something that makes playing it at Papa's even more fun!

BTR Concert 2013...

This year, I not only got tickets the the Big Time Rush concert but VIP tickets.  They included a meet and greet, sound check, and picture!  Oh and a seat in the first 20 rows!  We got seats in row 10!  Here are just a few pictures from the many I took tonight.  Liliana was able to take our neighbor Taylor with us which made the evening that much more fun!  If you ask Liliana her favorite part of the night she will say its tough because she loved two things that happen...

1) During the sound check she yelled "I love you Kendall" when no one was talking, all the band members looked at Liliana while Kendall stared right at her and said "I love you too, that was so sweet!"

And 

2) When taking her picture with Kendall he "smooshed" her face while wrapping his arms around her.  Then while walking away he pulled her back towards him so he could look at her dress more!  It was a very memorable night!  I'm so happy we splurged on a once in a lifetime chance to meet them!

The Welsh Family's Last Day In AZ...

Today was their last day in AZ.  We met the Welsh family through MOMS Club.  Lexi has been one of Garrison's closest friends.  If you ask Garrison who Lexi is, most of the time his response is "my girlfriend"!  The twins we knew before they were born!  I visited them when they were born in the hospital!  I've babysat them on occasion.  I've grown very close to this family and although better opportunity has come for them in another state it doesn't change how close of friends we have become and how much they will be missed!  Despite their move to CO (12 hours away), we will keep in touch and hopefully make a trip out after the new year!  Today, the movers packed their home up while the twins and Lexi spent the day here playing.  Kristen and Kevin came over for dinner and then we said our goodbyes.  We teared up despite trying not to!  We will miss you Welsh Family!  We WILL come visit you guys and you are always welcome to visit us!

Baseball/Softball With Papa Bing...

Although it was a bit muggy to us Arizonans, the air temp was a nice low 93 degrees.  To Papa Bing, that meant "lets go play outside".  So we walked down to the green belt area near our house, baseball/softball items in tow and played some ball.  The kids had fun and Papa Bing was happy to be in his element...coaching kids on proper technique!

Happy Birthday Mom/Grandma...

Today Grandma turned 60!  60 is a nice even number which deserves celebrating!  All birthdays no matter the year should be celebrated but mommy has done so much for us over the years that we wanted to make this birthday extra special.  Marc's boss has a connection in the jewelry business and can get any piece of jewelry at cost.  So we came up with a design and off to production it went.  Judy, Marc's boss' wife, helped it transition from a drawing on paper into such an amazingly beautiful gift.  This gift is not just beautiful but has tons of meaning behind it.  The heart symbolizes the love we all have for her.  The 3 birthstones at the top are her 3 children.  The 10 birthstones along the bottom are her grandchildren.  The heart shaped 1/4 carot diamond in the middle is for her!  She indeed loves it and we look forward to seeing her wear it.  Along with this customized gift we had her and Papa over for a seafood feast.  We ended the night with a very tasty coconut cake that mom really enjoyed.  I'm glad we were able to celebrate another year with her and hoped the new memories will be added with all the others.

Happy 59th Birthday To Papa Bing...

Today we celebrated Papa Bing!  We made him his favorite breakfast (a western omelet), then played a little kinect on the Xbox, enjoyed a movie at the local theater (The Lone Ranger), and a nice dinner at Buca Di Beppo.  He had a fun filled dayand we had fun celebrating him!

I put a few raspberries on Maia's high chair and she put them on her fingers!  It's so funny how little kids always put foods on their fingers when able!

While Marc was tucking Rosalia into bed, she asked "What's that on yours fingers?"  Marc answered "It's my I love mommy ring" Rosalia then says "Where's my ring?  I love mommy and you?"

While out front playing, a little girl skated by and tripped over some rocks so Garrison grabbed the broom from the garage and said "Mommy me gonna sweep those rocks for her so she won't fall no more." (4 yrs old)

"Mommy, yup that sure was yummy cake. Yup it's all in my tummy. You can give me more tomorrow"...Garrison after scarfing a piece of the very favored blueberry snack cake. (4 1/2 yrs old)
