Happy Birthday A 3rd Time...

Today, everyone came over to celebrate Rosalia's 2nd birthday.  She was in love with her Minnie Mouse cake, outfit, and presents!  I LOVED seeing all the smiles on her face! 

6 Months Old...

6 months have flown by.  Maia is just like Rosalia, hitting milestones faster than I can write them in her baby book!  Everyday, I tell this little baby to slow down but she obviously has no interest in listening.  She can sit, stand, crawl, roll, and walk along things.  She attempts to let go and even tries a step but ends up on her bum.  She weighs 13.9 lbs.  Her weight gain slowed a bit but considering how much she is moving these days she must be burning a decent amount of calories.  Her personality is beginning to shine.  She is such a smiley baby.  She LOVES being held and cuddled.  A little too much but since she is our last I won't complain though!  She is a total mommy's girl.  Her eyes are still bright blue, her hair a light brown with a nice red tint to it.  Her bald spot is still there and ever so slowly filling in.  She enjoys crawling for trouble, whether it be towards the dog's cage, food and water, or onto the tile floor and balancing on the unsteady bar stools!  It seems as though Maia is going to keep us on our toes just as Rosalia does these days!

2 Years Old...

Rosalia may only be 2 years old but you'd never know it by her size, speech, or mannerism.  She is only 2 inches shorter than Garrison (who is almost 2 years older than her).  She weighs 28 lbs and wears the same size show as Garrison!  She is almost off the charts in her height and weight.  Her personality shines bright these days.  She is very funny and witty with her brothers and sisters.  She knows exactly how to get her way and even though she is child #5, she holds her own!  She enjoys watching Mickey Mouse shows or Princess movies.  An occasional Disney movie, Dora episode, or Jake's Neverland Pirate episode.  She loves to sing and dance.  She loves to dress up.  She loves wearing any one's shoes.  She is still a mischievous little stinker, but her cuteness outshines the trouble she sometimes causes.  Here are some pictures I took of her, which totally show her personality!

"My Birthday, My Birthday"...

This morning, I woke up Rosalia and said the words "Happy Birthday Rosalia" to her.  She didn't stop smiling all day.  Since Marc and Liliana left for a field trip early this morning, we celebrated her birthday last night with a few presents and cupcakes.  This was a great year, if you're Rosalia, to have a birthday.  Rosalia got to have birthday fun last night, today, and she will also get to celebrate with the family in a couple weeks.
Like all the birthdays in this house, Rosalia picked the meals for the day.  She enjoyed being sung to, over and over and over and over again!  She even instructed her siblings to sing to her over and over again!  She enjoyed her day and went to bed a very tired TWO year old!

Oh this little baby is determined to NOT be a baby much longer.  Just two short weeks ago she was just learning to stand up.  Now she is pulling herself up, balancing, and letting one hand go!  Slow down Maia, slow down!
