And off to New Mexico we went!
First stop, Mesilla Plaza. After building up quite the appetite, we stopped at La Posta De Mesilla Restaurant. We enjoyed the food while mom enjoyed the oversized Margarita!! 
After spending the night in Las Cruces KOA, we headed towards the White Sands Missile Range.
Marc "Alright guys we are in the missile range. If you see any, let me know"
Rosalia "Ok, but New Mexico is boring."
Maia "No it's not, we are going to go swimming and watch a special movie I packed for us"
I don't believe they even listened to a single word Marc said!
Nearby, we unloaded kids and sleds and enjoyed all that White Sands National Park had to offer in Alamogordo.
Next, we visited Alameda Park Zoo. It was a small zoo but still had a fun variety of animals to enjoy.
We never seem to pass up a good state park with fun hiking trails. So it made sense we stopped at Oliver Lee Memorial State Park. Maia made Marc nervous as she walked a little too close for comfort to a cliff. While Marc pleaded with her to walk closer to him, she assured him she's a
good hiker.
