We drove up to Flagstaff to pick up something for Marc's store and stopped at a small pizza place for not just tasty pizza but also some Basil Gelato! Basil in gelato is actually really tasty. I love gelato and I certainly love basil but I have to admit, I wasn't sold on the flavor combo until I tried a tiny bit. Once these two girls tried some, no one else got anymore!

Early Birthday Take 1...
Maia turns 3 on the 15th of this month. With Easter and other family gatherings planned it was going to be difficult to have the family up near her birthday. The solution... the one thing I've been against... combine her birthday celebrating with a holiday. I threw this cake together to take down for Easter dinner. Maia is still young enough not to understand her birthday got combined with Easter thankfully! She LOVED her cake! She still LOVES all things Disney Frozen!

Happy Easter...
Happy Easter!! We were busy today. The kids woke to find the bunny visited our house. We enjoyed a nice breakfast before heading off to Mass. We then headed down to Aunt Jeneen's house in Scottsdale for an early dinner with the family. The kids enjoyed swimming, game playing, and quality time with the family. The sky was beautiful on our way home. It was a long day but a very nice day.

Before And After Marc's Breakroom...
Marc's break room was looking a little rough at work. His bosses came for a visit and instructed it get a remodel ASAP. Marc procrastinated and just before another visit (visit was on Tuesday and he decided the Saturday and Sunday before would be the time to remodel), asked for my help. We went shopping and found some fun decor and based the remodel off those colors. While Marc was at work Saturday, I was running the last of errands which included gathering all paint supplies. Saturday evening came fast and I had to run another set of items over to the store. Marc was way behind. There was no way he would enjoy Sunday off with so little done. I ended up painting all evening and then back on Sunday with him after church to finish it all up. The before and after is a huge difference and improvement. His workers LOVE it. Hopefully they like it enough to keep it clean and tidy.

Breakfast With The Easter Bunny...
The Prescott Gateway Mall offered a free breakfast with the Easter Bunny event to the community. We decided to check it out. They got cute little baskets filled with a few goodies, simple unhealthy breakfast (we could have done without), and a chance to meet, hug, and take a picture with the Easter Bunny. I couldn't believe how excited these two girls were to see the Easter Bunny but also hug and take pictures with him.

Preschool Egg Hunt...
Rosalia's preschool had an adorable egg hunt for the kids. Earlier in the week they made bunny bags and were prepped for a walk down the street to a small park where parents had hid eggs. They had to count as they collected and could only end up with 6.
