Playtime Never Ends...

When visiting our home, there is always a child wanting to play.  A game to play, a puzzle to build, a person expecting to be chased, swung, or spun.  Until 8pm (bedtime) someone wants to play!  So you must bring energy!  Papa Bing had to pace himself AND get lots of rest once bedtime arrived!  Things he did with the children included...

Fried Dough With Papa Bing...

Papa Bing wanted to make fried dough with the kids after dinner.  The kids LOVE helping in the kitchen so they jumped right in. 

Happy Father's Day...

This Father's Day, not only did we celebrate Marc but we got to celebrate my dad (aka Papa Bing)!  Marc and my father have totally different taste in food.  So I chose to make their favorites over the course of 2 days.  Marc favors mini hamburgers with gravy over rice where my dad favors spaghetti and meatballs.  Marc's favorite dessert is chocolate cheesecake where my dad's is strawberry shortcake!  Marc's dad also came over for one of the dinners so we could celebrate him as well.  The kids made their usual pile of cards and pictures.  Earlier in the week Marc and my dad enjoyed a round of golf I had purchased for them to enjoy as a gift.  I also sewed my father a handy camo printed pot holder which he had requested after seeing the ones I had.  (Back in GA he is the cook!)  While Marc received a pinterest inspired picture frame which reads "I Love you because..."  and each day I can fill it in and write something different. 

2 Months Old...

Today Maia is 2 months old.  She weighs in at 10 lbs 13 oz.  She is such a good baby.  So calm and "go with the flow".  She likes to cuddle but is content when put down.  She smiles at everyone that talks to her.  She LOVES her siblings.  She coos and lets out small chuckles. She's so loved and definitely a keeper just like the rest!

Petco Tour...

To beat the heat, the MOMS Club I'm in had a tour at our local Petco location.  The kids were so excited to go see all the different animals.  The worker even let the kids pet some of animals.  All four older children are quite the animal lovers these days, so this tour had them smiling ear to ear the entire time.

After Garrison pet the rat he said "Mommy, me wove (love) rats can me buy one?"
The answer was a big "NO"

Ava wanted so badly to adopt this cat but once again the answer was a big "NO"
