Great Grandma Time...

Great Grandma Simpson is, once again, staying with us for a little while. She will be here visiting for just about a week! The kids are heaven! They LOVE visitors and especially ones that love to play as much as Great Grandma Simpson does!

Card games. Board Games. Bingo. Coloring. Crossword Puzzles.

You name it she plays it! It's truly HEAVEN for the kids.

I play games but not for hours on end like Great Grandma does! When not playing with the older kids you can find her playing with the baby. Today she put a few "new" toys in front of the baby and boy did she like them!

She was so excited for the pop up animal toy as you can tell in this picture!

Dillon Caught...

a FISH! His very own fish. Marc took the older 3 kids fishing this afternoon. When they returned Dillon showed his younger two siblings along with myself what he caught. He wasn't as proud of his catch once Marc handed it to him to hold while I snapped this picture!

Being The Baby...

Being the baby in this family is sooooooooooo much fun!

When in the right mood... ALL my children are hams when the camera comes out. Rosalia is following suit. Today I pulled out the camera and here are the faces she made...

Baseball...

Today was the first practice game for Dillon's little league baseball team. After having only 4 practices as a team together, we weren't sure how today's game would go. We were pleasantly surprised by how well our team did!

Almost every single player got at least 1 hit when up at bat. They fielded the ball like pros. Worked wonderfully as a team. Listened to their coaches. And had FUN!

Dillon went 6 for 6 with 6 RBI's! He even made a few good plays while playing outfield!

Lonely Gray...

While styling my hair this morning I found this...

1 LONELY short gray hair!

Where did that come from? Well I know where it came from but I was certainly surprised!

I will be 30 this December and already have my first gray hair! CRAZY!

I am still smiling though! For I am aging, which means people can finally look at me with my 5 children and know I am the MOM not their sister!!

Its always a compliment when people don't think I am the mom but I am ready to look a little older... I just didn't picture that would include gray hair!
