Humbug...

Tonight was the showing of "Humbug!" the musical. The entire 3rd grade had been working on this performance for months! Liliana decided to just be a background singer because she "didn't want to be on stage all by herself for a solo"! Each class (there are 4- 3rd grade classes) had a short performance as a group on stage where they danced AND sang! When Liliana's class wasn't on stage she was standing on the bleachers singing with her group! She appeared to be having a very fun time. As for the musical, it was such a fun and entertaining piece to watch! The teachers did a phenomenal job writing it, not to mention they wrote all the music as well! While visitors were in town, I thought it would be a perfect time to bake up the gingerbread houses and let the kids go to town decorating! Check out their finished houses!

Happy Birthday To Me Again...

Another birthday has come and gone! It was especially nice this year since Dad and Grandma Crochere were in town for our ten year renewal ceremony! I received some lovely gifts and had a wonderful day with the family! Thank you friends and family for the birthday wishes!

My Little Gambler...

While Dad was visiting, he just had to play a few scratch lottery tickets. Well, of course, its no fun to watch someone scratch tickets without scratching a few yourself! Since the older kids were in school and Garrison is too little, Ava was the lucky one to "help" scratch! Oh the fun she had! Even Grandma Crochere got in on the fun!!
