Visiting The Yegge's And Knotts Berry Farm...
Marc couldn't take the time off but the kids and I wanted to visit Annette. We also wanted to join them for a day at Knotts Berry Farms. The kids played so well together (but they always do). The older kids even got a chance to have a paintball fight!

Happy 4th Of July 2014...
With the move to a new house and school set to start in another few weeks, I didn't get around to making the girls their dresses. Luckily there is no clothes shortage in this house so they all had red, white, or blue clothing to wear. Smiles were hit or miss and it was so muggy and sticky out that I wasn't interested in getting that impossible perfect shot of all of them smiling. We enjoyed swimming at Papa's house, dinner with Papa (Grandma had to work), gelato from a favorite local hot spot, a giant fruit flag cookie, and sparklers after watching the local church fireworks out our upstairs loft window.

Arizona Youth Museum With Karra And Her Girls...
The Krug Family came to visit us. Karra is a high school friend that I've kept in touch with over the years. Karra married Jeff and they have 2 gorgeous little girls Haley and Josie (which just happen to be the same ages as Rosalia and Maia!). Their plans were to visit us in October. They had been interested in moving out to Arizona from Connecticut last year but put those plans off. Their interest peaked again and found themselves out for a visit in the middle of the hot summer scoping out their options. Marc and I had already planned our kid-free vacation so sadly we only got to hang out with the Krug family for a little over 2 days but it was still fun. On the only full day we had with them, Marc and Jeff hung out at home while Karra and I took the younger kids to the local youth museum. I personally love this museum. It's always got a different themed display with interactive stations, has a cute little kitchen where you can enjoy your lunch (they allow outside food making the day fairly reasonable in price), and they have a gated play area where the kids can get all their wiggles and energy out. The kids had so much fun as did I getting to catch up with Karra while watching out girls play and giggle.
