Garrison And HIS Puppy...

This little guy was so very scared of Mocha when we first brought her home...but now he has a new friend!

Smiling From...

I know it's a bit early for her to smile but look how sweet... even if this facial expression is in response to some gas passing!

Teacher Gifts...

This year, I didn't have a lot of time to plan out what the teachers would get as a gift.  Between a new baby, the end of different after school activities, and end of school year stuff... I wasn't too sure everything would be fit into the busy schedule.  While at Walmart with the kids, I came across ice cream sundae cups...  I saw an idea on pinterest where you take a napkin, roll it up stick a lollipop in the top with a gift card and give it as a gift.  I asked the children if they would like to give their teacher's ice cream gift cards inside these cups.  The answer was yes and so we bought 6 cups!  3 teachers at school and 3 religion teachers at RE.  Instead of using lollipops I used a long twizzler pull and peel to act as a straw coming out of the cup.

Don't forget...

To remind myself of things coming up, things needed to be done, or even things needed to be picked up...I made this!  Another pinterest inspired item.  It's just a picture frame, pieces of card stock, and a dry erase marker!  So simple!

Meet Mocha...

Mocha is our new puppy. Marc adopted her the Thursday before we had Maia.  For the last few weeks we have been pretty busy.  Which is why I haven't posted about Mocha until now.  I also wanted to wait until I had some pictures to post of her.  She is a really good puppy.  Hopefully she will train quickly (the part I dislike the most with a new puppy)!

Pudding Snatcher...

Don't leave your pudding unattended or the "pudding snatcher" might get it!

Academic Night...

Tonight, Quartz Hill Elementary celebrated their academic scholars by presenting them with a pin.  All students in 4th, 5th, and 6th grade with ALL A's and just 1 B are eligible for this award.  Liliana had straight A's the first and second quarter but this third quarter challenged her.  She ended up getting a B in math but according to her teacher she missed having an A by just a couple points.  We are VERY proud of her.  She works extremely hard to keep her grades up!
